**About the role**
The Technical Writing Associate will deliver on technical documentation and manage change controls for the R&D department. Tasks may include working on labeling material, using tools such as Bartender, Illustrator and Excel, and working alongside SMEs in our R&D and Quality Engineering departments.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Manage and prioritize product change requests and engineering change orders to update existing documentation.
- Work within an electronic Quality Management System.
- Collaborate with R&D and Quality Engineering SMEs.
- Adhere to and promote the adherence to all Corporate, Quality and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.

**Required qualifications**:

- Actively working towards a degree in Engineering, Science or Technical Writing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Demonstrated competence as a Technical Writer or Engineer through previous co-ops and course projects
- Previous experience working with eQMS
- Experience in document control, preferably in an ISO environment
- Ability to quickly understand workflow and suggest improvements
