Reporting to the Vice President, Operations and Supply Chain, the Manager, Maintenance and Facilities is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance and Facilities teams to ensure the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of plant equipment, and utilities and systems that ensure optimal production efficiency and quality. Working closely with the Production team, the Manager ensures the production schedule is satisfied by meeting on-time start and completion and maximizing machine up-times. This role will also support the delivery of key projects that impact the profitability and support the strategic direction of the organization.

**Here are some of the different activities you’ll be asked to do**:

- Lead and participate in the development, implementation, and execution of service standards to ensure provided services effectively support achievement of overall production and business required results and goals.
- Responsible for effectively planning, managing, and coordinating all activities of maintenance with team members and other departments.
- Initiate, implement, and manage the plant maintenance program based on the best practices in the pharmaceutical industry with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventative/predictive maintenance.
- Support new businesses and projects by coordinating with team members and other departments in on-boarding new processes, equipment and/or equipment upgrades.
- Assess team performance and implement evaluation and support processes for effective escalation to identify a solution.
- Review the operation of plant equipment and systems routinely to minimize unplanned downtime; anticipate and solve problems while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Take a leadership role in health and safety by identifying unsafe conditions and ensuring all team members are working in a safe manner.
- Ensure that while meeting business objectives and quality requirements that deliverables also comply with internal SOPs, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Foster and maintain a culture of inclusion, diversity, transparency, and continuous improvement.

- A University/college degree in technical field, CET, or other equivalent professional designations
- 5-10 years of experience as a leader within maintenance and facilities in a cGMP environment or similar industry
- Proven experience in building and enhancing department structure, optimizing overall performance
- Demonstrated initiative, agility, and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and working conditions
- Proficient computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office programs
