We are looking for a full-time Post Office Manager for our Pharmasave location in Coquitlam, B.C.
The Post Office Manager reports to the Front Store Manager.
- Perform a variety of sales/customer service activities to ensure complete customer satisfaction selling postage, weighing packages, stamping envelopes, assisting customers, selling money orders and MoneyGram
- Operate a computer point of sale system
- Maintain a high level of postal products, services and delivery knowledge
- Process financial transactions (cash, cheques, debit & credit card payments)
- Answers enquiries and resolves customer complaints regarding postal services
- Maintains a neat and organized postal service area and presents proper image to public Guidelines (eg. clean appearance, approved uniform, name badge)
- Ability to upsell and recommend postal services and promotions to all customers
- Ensures loss prevention systems and procedures are performed according to store policy
- Controls cash, money order, and stamp inventory in accordance with prescribed cash handling policies and procedures
- Maintains proper security of cash and mail
- Complies with all store policies and procedures
- Ensures loss prevention standards and procedures followed in the department and all reports printed and reviewed daily (ie: no sale report, void report, items not on file)
- Complies with all health and safety requirements as follows: Provides H&S policy direction and planning; reviews information and delegates responsibility; provides support to H&S policy; holds staff reporting to them accountable
- Presents clean image to the customers in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines (eg. clean appearance, approved uniform, name badge)
- Perform other duties, including Front Store and Cash duties as required
**Qualifications**
- Experience in customer service in a retail environment
- Sales experience is an asset
- Customer service oriented
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Register Skills
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Efficient time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing customer service
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladder
- Ability to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends
