**What is the Opportunity?**

As part of an alliance agreement, Aecon has been awarded a contract in an Aecon-led partnership with Kiewit Nuclear Canada by Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for the execution phase on the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario. Beginning in 2025 Aecon will support the Construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site.

The Security Clearance Administrator is responsible for supporting the security clearance process for all employees assigned to the SMR-X Project as well as, day to day preparation and handling of training material and records.

**What You'll Do Here**:

- Initiate OPG Clearance Applications with SMR-X employees, subcontractors and potential new hires.
- Daily preparation of training packages and attendance records for Trainers Work with the Trainers to plan training schedules and set up courses.
- Manage resources including facilities, equipment and instructor availability. Set up training events in LMS.
- Responsible for receiving completed training records, recording learning credits in LMS.
- Handle the collection of completed training records and ensure proper scanning and storage per procedures. Maintain an accurate list of training folders on the Shared Drive; ensure all training documentation is the most current revision; and is uploaded and stored electronically.
- Ensure training material, documents and completion records are stored securely and are retrievable from the shared project folder.
- Use of project learning management system to validate qualification status and provide supporting reports. Work with Training Manager, Training Coordinators and Trainers to understand training demand.
- Coordinate issuance and tracking of site access badges for all personnel.

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- Minimum 2 years of office experience.
- Post-secondary learning in Business Administration, Business Management or related program.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office; including excel an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task on a regular basis. Must have a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate with associated department.
- Must have computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.
