Cleaner/dishwasher

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/ Cleaner to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher/ cleaner plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the overall operations of our food service team.

**Duties**
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs for dishwashing equipment to management.
- Clean restaurant areas as required

**Skills**
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain high sanitation standards.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience in food service or hospitality environments is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing time effectively.

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
