Working in collaboration with the CEO and managers, the Human Resources Advisor provides hands-on HR and people support for our team of over 200 full-time staff.

You are an experienced HR Business Partner or Generalist or who has driven an end-to-end HR function and helped set the tone for culture at progressive organizations. You will be an integral part of the team, providing expertise and leadership on employee relations, employee engagement, performance and other HR related programs.

CPHR designation considered an asset or working towards it.

- Implement and manage HR programs, policies, and processes.
- Developing and delivering HR training initiatives that align with the company’s objectives.
- Collaborating with CEO and managers to improve processes and deliver a seamless employee experience.

- Supporting the execution of employee engagement initiatives including surveys and engagement action plans.
- Maintaining job descriptions and Organizational Chart roles and responsibilities, ensuring Job Offers include all aspects of the job roles and expectations.
- Coaching our managers on performance management; including oversight of the organizational performance management cycle and advising on strategies to improve employee performance.
- Offering coaching and operational support to our leaders in the areas of employee relations, performance management and employee engagement.
- Leading, selecting and implementing HR Management system.
- Providing an exceptional employee experience by delivering a welcoming new hire onboarding experience, including issuing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions and processing new hire paperwork.
- You’ll also play a key role in improving HR processes and aligning them with our evolving business needs.

- Working with CEO and managers to support the employee performance management process.

**Employee Engagement**
- Working with CEO and managers to elevate employee engagement levels and award good work.
- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with managers, staff and peers.
- Review and improve employee onboarding processes

**Reporting**
- Review and ensure all HR Reporting is completed accurately and timely
- Review and provide insights on reporting findings, trends or changes in employment profile, engagement and other relevant metrics

**Experience and skills**
- Post-Secondary designation in Human Resources (HR) Management or a related field.
- 5 years’ Human Resources experience, including a minimum of 2 years as an HR Generalist
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in culture, employee engagement, or organizational development
- CPHR is preferred
- Excellent relationship building skills including maintaining clear lines of communication based on a high degree of trust, credibility, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
- You thrive on delivering a positive employee experience by collectively supporting the needs of employees and the business.
- Experience with the implementation of a Human resources (HR) technology system.
- You have effective oral and written communication skills as well as a proven ability to work within a high paced environment.
- Previous experience identifying, providing and implementing strategies for improved HR practices and processes.
- Strong attention to detail, together with the ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for learning and being challenged.
- Ability to build meaningful and impactful relationships and deliver excellent client service.
