Operation Sharing Woodstock provides emergency shelter, food and dignified services to Oxford County residents working through shelter and food insecurity issues. Our core services are designed to break down the barriers caused by labeling through opportunities for all members to participate in the life of our community.

The INN, is an emergency shelter that operates all year round providing accommodations for people who are experiencing homelessness, or are in crisis. The INN is an Operation Sharing program that serves Oxford County residents. Guests of The INN receive food, shelter a safe bed along with the hygiene necessities we all deserve. We are currently looking to add 1 full time enthusiastic team member in the **Support Worker Day Program** role.

**Job Title**:Support Worker Day Program**

**Job Type**: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
**Starting Wage**: $19/hour

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Collection**: Maintain accurate records and track program data as required.
- **Breakfast Program Management**: Prepare and run a daily breakfast service for program participants.
- **Facility & Grounds Maintenance**: Ensure the facility and surrounding grounds are clean, safe, and presentable.
- **Donation Sorting**: Organize, sort, and distribute donated goods.
- **Fundraising Support**: Assist with planning, organizing, and executing fundraising events.
- **General Duties**: Perform other tasks as requested to support the organization and participants.
- **Background**: Preferred background with mental health and addictions

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience or background in mental health, addictions, or social services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Having a vehicle and a valid driver's license is an asset.
- Compassionate team player
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Works well under pressure
- Efficient time management skills

Pay: $19.00 per hour
