Art for Life 4 Kids is a dynamic and inspiring art academy dedicated to nurturing creativity in children and teens. Our programs are designed to build artistic confidence and technical skills in a supportive and engaging environment. We offer a range of art classes for students aged 6 to 17, focusing on traditional fine arts and creative expression.

Position**:Art Instructor**(Part-Time)
- **September to June**: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- **July to August (Summer Camps)**: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

**Remuneration**
- $19 per hour starting salary rising to $25 based on performance.
- Lead art classes for students ages 6 to 17 in a structured, encouraging, and engaging manner
- Teach acrylic and watercolour painting techniques, along with foundational drawing skills
- Provide individualized feedback and guidance to help students develop their own artistic style
- Prepare and adapt lesson plans suitable for varying age groups and skill levels
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity and confidence
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up the studio before and after classes
- Support student art showcases, camps, and special events as needed
- **Background in Fine Art, illustration, or visual storytelling**:

- Strong skills in both acrylic and watercolour painting
- Solid understanding of draftsmanship principles: from realistic landscapes and portraits to stylized character design (including anime styles)
- A well-rounded portfolio that demonstrates traditional fine art techniques
- Experience working with children and teens in an educational or recreational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Professionalism, punctuality, and a collaborative mindset

**(Not Required, But a Plus)**:

- Knowledge of other media such as ink, coloured pencil, or mixed media Digital Art skills in Procreate are a bonus
- Background in Fine Art, animation, illustration, or visual storytelling
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
