**Role Overview**:We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Exterior Carpenters & Deck Builders to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the construction of residential decks, verandahs, staircases, wood railings, and post installations. Your expertise in framing will be crucial in ensuring the structural integrity of our projects. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the creation of outdoor spaces that our clients will cherish for years to come.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Constructing residential decks and verandahs, including stairs, wood railings, and posts.
- Demonstrating proficiency in framing techniques.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and working independently when required.
- Ensuring compliance with the Alberta Building Code and industry best practices.
- Meeting tight deadlines and production schedules while maintaining high-quality work.
- Prioritizing attention to detail and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Utilizing strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated experience in residential deck and verandah construction.
- Familiarity with framing techniques.
- Proven track record of success in carpentry and construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of the Alberta Building Code.
- Previous long-term employment history in similar roles.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines in various weather conditions.
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
