**Landmark Bus Lines** **is a school bus transportation company committed to providing excellent service to their customers. We employ approximately 140 school bus and Transit drivers in the Collingwood, Wasaga Beach area.**

**The purpose of this role**:

- To provide operational leadership to the Operations and Maintenance staff and Driver team.
- To manage the coordination of drivers, vehicles, and routes to provide responsive service to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day to day operations of the site, overseeing scheduled home to school routes, and charter services
- Ensure the safety of passenger and employees
- Provide superior levels of proactive customer service
- Coach and develop the operations and maintenance teams
- Encourage and recognize superior performance
- Handle performance concerns
- Prioritize and delegate short term tasks and objectives
- Follow up on assigned tasks and duties
- Ensure policies are being applied in a fair and consistent manner
- Resolve all matters relating to Drivers in a fair and expedient manner
- Manage and oversee driver payroll. Ensure payroll reconciliation completed daily
- Provide on-going assistance to schools regarding general transportation issues
- Regularly visit schools to determine transportation needs and level of satisfaction
- Liaise between schools, boards, and drivers

- Highly skilled at nurturing, supporting, and encouraging staff and drivers
- Able to read and respond to the needs of the Transportation departments, schools, and parents

**Qualifications**:

- Proven management and administrative skills
- Additional training in transportation, logistics or business would be advantageous along with computer literacy and familiarity with the student transportation industry.
