Winchester, Canada Glengarry Inter Agency Group (GIAG) Full time

The Glengarry Inter-Agency Group (GIAG) is looking for an energetic and dynamic individual to fill an **ON CALL/SUPPLY STAFF** position as a Registered Early Childhood Educator in the **before and after school** - TLC Program (The Learning Centre) at Winchester Public School **working split shifts**. **Please note - COVID Vaccinations are NOT required for this position.**

**SPLIT shifts are Mon-Fri 6:30am-9:30am & 3:30pm-6pm**

**Must Haves**
- Valid CPR & First Aid, level C
- Current health assessment, including TB test and up-to-date record of immunizations
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check

**What you will be doing**
- Will be in contact with other TLC staff, parents, children, caregivers and community partners
- Supervise children in program, ensuring that a stimulating program is planned and implemented and that the program is designed to promote belonging, well-being, engagement, and expression by using the ‘’How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years’’
- May supervise High school Co-op placements, summer students, or volunteers

**What you bring to the team**
- Experience working with young children in a group environment
- Knowledge of community resources
- Fluent in English (oral & written)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Quick problem solving and decision-making skills

**Conditions you will be working in**
- Works indoors and outdoors
- Works in school settings
- Fans or air conditioners will be supplied as necessary for summer programs
- Uses cleaning solutions to wash toys and resources
- Work split shifts
- May travel for team meetings, conferences, workshops and community meetings
