Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager - Therapy Services, the multi-site Activity Supervisor participates and assists in supervision of activity workers. Participates in the planning, implementation and standardization of resident recreation/leisure programs and interventions; collection and evaluation of information pertaining to resident interest and need; promoting the development of individual resident recreation goals, plans, documentation and reporting; attending and participating in interdisciplinary meetings and reviews; and overseeing orientation, supervision and direction of volunteers.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:**
Education, Training And Experience**:
Graduation from a recognized recreational program plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Class 4 unrestricted BC driver's license (driver's abstract review required yearly).

**Skills And Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to supervise.
- Ability to teach.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
