The Corporate Actions team is a critical part of our firm and clients’ success and is a challenging and rewarding role for the right individual. In this role, you will experience the inner workings of asset management and will have the opportunity to advance your research, analytical and problem-solving skills for future growth and development within Connor, Clark & Lunn (CC&L).

**What You Will Do**

The Corporate Actions role serves as the key provider of accurate corporate actions information and processing for all equity and fixed income portfolios at CC&L. In this role, you will:

- Communicate with custodians, portfolio managers, and key personnel across CC&L to investigate and resolve corporate action cash and holding discrepancies.
- Gather and synthesize corporate actions information from multiple sources including Bloomberg, investor relations and custodian notifications.
- Process corporate actions (ex. Mergers & acquisitions, stock dividends, rights issues, spin-offs, redemptions and mortgage-backed security pay-downs) on portfolio holdings quickly and accurately using the firm’s portfolio accounting system (APX).
- Participate in operational projects focusing on automation, efficiency, and the scalability of IPO’s services.

**What You Bring**
- **Experience**:1-3 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year in Corporate actions or in a similar role and/or enrolment in the CFA program will be beneficial to your success.
- **Investment Knowledge**:You have an undergraduate degree and a genuine interest in the investment industry.
- **Problem Solver**:You have a proven ability to think both critically and creatively to solve problems and improve processes.
- **Curiosity**:You have a thirst for knowledge and lifelong learning.
- **Positive Attitude**: You are a sharp, ambitious, and enthusiastic person who is able to work under pressure. You are a “go-getter”.
