Contributes to the overall success of the Scotia Wealth Management Marketing department in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. **_Key Accountabilities:_** - Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. - Contributes to the success and profitability of the region by supporting the planning, coordination and execution of relationship manager marketing initiatives. Supports grass roots client awareness of the brand, and acquisition/retention and employee engagement. - Lead collaboration with the relationship managers and Scotia Wealth Management Marketing to ensure local/individual business building needs are represented and ensure that the sales force is well aware of national marketing strategies and programs which support their business objectives. - Coach relationship managers to improve their branding and service offering, support the creation of a marketing plan to drive individual and regional business objectives. Enable relationship managers to be proactive in their marketing efforts, and to allocate the appropriate resources to each initiative - Drive creative writing process for ScotiaMcLeod Advisor websites, newsletters and client communications through appropriate internal and external providers to ensure appropriate language and tone, and demonstration of the Enriched Thinking positioning. - Liaise with internal marketing partners in Scotia Wealth Management and Scotiabank to ensure alignment with national campaigns and to leverage appropriate marketing expertise - Drive awareness of the marketing tools available to support sales staff in the development of their marketing communications/activities - Present to offices regarding marketing campaigns, ideas and tools available (written or verbal presentations, depending on specific initiative) - Effectively manage multiple projects of varying scope, strategic impact and complexity and deliver projects on strategy, on time, on budget. - Acts as the "voice of the customer" with advisors, ensuring key regional consumer and client needs are being considered. - Oversee regulatory requirements for marketing approvals - Ensure all marketing and communications pieces for relationship managers (websites, brochures, fact sheets, newsletters, seminars, invitations, advertisements, etc.) are created using appropriate internal and external design resources and are brand compliant across visual elements, verbiage/tone and manner, logos and disclaimers - Act as the delegated designate for supervisory marketing activities in accordance with IIROC. Provide marketing approvals, documenting evidence of supervision, and document business line approvals on all marketing materials for ScotiaMcLeod Advisors and Teams (websites, brochures, invites, ads, etc.) in accordance with IIROC and Compliance guidelines, with escalation to branch management and the Senior Manager, Scotia Wealth Management marketing, as required. - Tracking and reporting - Assist in the development and recommendation of the annual regional marketing budgets as required/requested by the regional business teams. - Consult with advisors/relationship managers on all aspects of their marketing and business, providing advice and counsel on marketing budgets for advisors and teams based on their individual needs and target markets. - Maintain tracking of marketing activities and results based on relevant metrics for each activity (i.e. # of prospects, # of closed sales, amount of new assets, deepening across businesses, etc.). Report activities regularly to the Sr. Manager and local/regional business leads. - Identify/create/evaluate process improvements to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. - Manage the regional marketing needs by: - Working with head office on national marketing initiatives including providing feedback from the field - Manage or liaise with regional management for all regional marketing events and marketing needs - Provide local marketing leadership and work effectively within a cross-functional team environment that includes varying skills/competencies. - Flawlessly execute key initiatives that increase credibility and raise awareness among existing and new advisors, while driving internal support for the Scotia Wealth Management brand platform. - Meet with all potential competitive recruits to detail the marketing offer - Contribute to the effective functioning of the Marketing team: - Manage/Lead projects or development of materials as required/assigned by the Senior Manager, Marketing including prospecting programs - Proactively share best pract
