This is a **12 month Contract** role for a **Manager, Corporate Finance. **In this role you will be work closely with various areas of the business and be accountable for managing KPI's, dashboards and databases, building financial models, supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes, and assisting in M&A activities.

**Job Description**:

- Lead monthly reporting activities such as monthly management/board presentation decks as well as track KPI's via reports and dashboards
- Develop dashboards, databases and reports to support in the monitoring and segmentation of the business (ie., store network, channel views of our omni channel business, etc...)
- Support in the annual budget process and provide ad-hoc analysis as required by the business
- Provide guidance and support in M&A activities (due diligence, valuation and presentations of analysis/recommendations to senior management and the Board of any businesses or potential targets that the Company and its subsidiaries intend to acquire of invest in)
- Collaborate closely with business partners to create business cases and ensure alignment with the annual budget, corporate strategy, and project return thresholds (NPV, IRR, and payback)
- Make strategic recommendations to management based on the results identified through completed analysis of large amounts of data
- Identify areas to improve efficiency through automation, simplification, and prioritization

**Qualifications**:

- BA in Business, Finance and/or Accounting
- CPA / CFA designations or a post-graduate degree is considered an asset
- 5+ years of retail industry experience within a finance-related field such as corporate finance, transaction advisory, FP&A, consulting, or investment banking is required
- Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of management and various stakeholders and make recommendations based on analytics and insights
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, time management and multi-tasking skills, and work well under pressure and deadlines
- Strong analytical and inquiry skills to understand operational processes and constraints
- Must have strong knowledge of budgeting analysis and understanding of business cases, with the ability to review the model and communicate with relevant stakeholders
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, data management and BI tools (ie., Tableau, Qlik, Smartview)
- Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
