**Service Technician - Emerald Park**

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment with small industrial engines.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing on rental equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working condition.
- Conduct inspections and testing to identify and address mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues before they lead to equipment failure or downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve any malfunctions or issues in rental equipment to minimize repair time and ensure quick turnaround for customers.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed on rental equipment for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Calibrate equipment to meet operational standards and ensure it operates efficiently for customers.
- Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies; place orders as necessary to keep parts available for servicing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs, costs, and timelines.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in small engine repair.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a related field.
- Strong technical/mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams including wiring.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Certification or formal training in small engine repair is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina for repairing and maintaining equipment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Valid drivers license is required.
