**Job Summary**
As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in our restaurant by ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of our service and the satisfaction of our customers.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, and grills.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and special requests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Perform cashiering duties as needed, including processing transactions through the POS system.
**Skills**
- Basic math skills for accurate measurement and portioning of ingredients.
- Experience with cashiering in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and equipment used in the food industry is advantageous.
