Project Manager
Reporting to the Vice President of Land Development, the Land Development Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Senior Project Managers in all aspects of project management for the successful execution of various land development projects in the Edmonton region.
What will you do?
Assist the senior project managers and the vice president on various land development projects in the Edmonton region.
Coordinate construction activities as directed by the senior project managers.
Review and code progress claims / invoicing for payment.
Attend consultant and site meetings.
Coordinate the construction completion certificate (CCC) & final acceptance certificate (FAC) process and other administrative support to assist in project closure.
Investigate and provide options to resolve issues identified by builder partners.
Review quotes and contracts.
Estimate costs.
Prepare and update budgets.
Provide input into market placement and community design elements.
Maintain project tracking / filing.
Assist with legal registration submissions and tracking of plan registrations.
Maintain an awareness of market trends.
What do we look for?
Demonstrated experience and/or understanding specific to one or more facets of land development
Degree in Planning, Engineering, or related field from an accredited University and a minimum of three years of experience; or
Diploma in Construction, Engineering, or Planning technology and a minimum of five years of experience in land development.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiar with budgets and project proformas.
Flexible and adaptable to rapid change.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Strong math skills.
Class 5 Alberta driver’s license, with insurance coverage for occasional business use.
Safe and reliable vehicle.
