Job Summary
**A Brief Overview**
Reporting to the Manager, Student Services and Convocation, this position contributes to the day-to-day operations of the Office of the University Registrar. The incumbent will be responsible for completing daily transcript tasks and acting as telephone receptionist, providing support to the Service and Information Assistant, and assisting with distributing transcripts daily.
This position provides guidance and direction for students regarding general enquiries, financial aid, tuition/fees, registration, convocation, records, and income tax documents. This position provides transcript documentation. This position also receives payments and records transactions.

**What you will do**
- Provides guidance and direction for students regarding general inquiries, financial aid, tuition/fees, registration, convocation, records, income tax documents, and other related requests.
- Provides transcript documentation.
- Provides clerical support where needed throughout the department.
- Receives payments and records transactions electronically.
- Prepares, produces, and distributes student diplomas and attends all convocation ceremonies.
- Maintains sensitive electronic documents including diploma master files.
- Writes and maintains procedure manuals.
- Other duties as required in support of the department and/or unit.
**Required Education**
- Two-Year Community College Diploma.
**Required Experience**
- More than 1 year and up to and including 2 years of experience.
Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Knowledge and insight of practical methods, techniques, and work processes that is typically acquired through a combination of technical training and/or work experience.
- Provide information that requires technical or administrative explanation or interpretation.

- Question attitudes, comments and behaviours which are discriminatory and seeks out appropriate resources to remove these from the workplace.
