Over the Rainbow is seeking an experienced & quick-learning Sales Floor Supervisor for our incredible retail store. Over the Rainbow is considered Toronto's best premium denim shopping destination for over 40 years. Our company is an independent, family-owned store focused on providing positive customer experiences, healthy working environment, and strong community ties. The sales floor is the backbone of our company and essential in the smooth running of the store. Working well as a leader and mentor people with in a team environment with confidence is the foundation to being successful in this position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the sales floor to deliver an excellent customer experience through a customer first mindset to build loyal customer relationships
- Maintain seamless store operational procedures, maintain weekly workflow.
- Support merchandising presentation strategy and standards, lead and train staff as needed
- Uphold and lead by example with all policies and procedures
- Display a dedicated approach to motivate and support sales associates
- Onboard new hires while providing coaching to improve performance of existing associates
- Contribute and lead through training
- Maintain and manage a professional, healthy, and productive work environment
- Service clientele with outstanding respect and customer service
- Executing proper selling techniques, suggesting complementary merchandise, measuring for alterations, and above all being genuine & honest
- Ensuring overall store cleanliness and maintenance including change room duty, housekeeping, and merchandising
- Cultivating a welcoming and safe environment for customers and other staff members

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years Retail Experience required
- Experience working with sales or retail organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities
- Driven approach to take on new challenges with the self-motivation for your work and career
- Excellent communicator with a passion for people
- Knowledge of denim and brand awareness and a love of fashion
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
