Our caregivers care for clients in their homes and retirement, nursing home, and hospice facilities.

**About the Role**:
**What you will do day-to-day**:
Talent Acquisition Duties
- Conduct recruitment planning and requisitions status meetings
- Making public presentations regarding the organization and job opportunities; coordinating staff participation, set up, and work at job fairs
- Utilize the internet and manage the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting efforts
- Manage recruiting events, sourcing appropriate job fairs, and determining other events and preparing business cases to attend
- Track, measure and report on efforts and acheivements at established weekly and monthly intervals
- Coordinate all internal recruitment processes including job posting, transfers or promotion of selected employees ensuring all applicable standards in hiring are met

Talent Development Duties
- Conduct and facilitate new hire orientations for Health Care Professionals and Office Employees and annual refresher orientations for Health Care Professionals
- Assist in the development of educational initiatives of the company
- Assign e-learning course modules to all employees and follow-up on any outstanding modules
- Act as the main contact person for all issues pertaining to the HRIS/e-learning website (HRDownloads)

Other HR Admin/Employee Relations Duties
- Actively participate in HR Team, collaborate with, and provide solutions/support to team members in the department to achieve strategic goals and objectives
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and pitfalls in recruiting and selection, training, and human rights
- Assumes the leadership and management of a minimum of one HR Generalist process accountability
- Assist with maintenance and filing of employee files and in maintaining up to date records of all employee service requirements
- Assist with the intake, organization and data analysis of employee needs and satisfaction surveys on a biannual basis

**What you will need to Succeed**:

- 1-2 years of previous experience in a recruiting/sourcing role required, OR
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a HR Coordination or training/facilitation role required,
- Innovative thinker, able to use and develop new sources for recruitment
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; Strong analytical, oral, written and teamwork skills
- Outstanding interviewing skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet continuous departmental targets
- Knowledge of current legislations, collective agreements where applicable and best HR practices
- Proven ability and effectiveness at managing large recruitment portfolios
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) skills; experience with applicant tracking systems and social media channels

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
