**THE JOB**:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring consistent implementation of all corporate programs and policies, initiatives, and strategies, through direction of the Store Manager.
- Supporting the Store Manage**r** build a successful store team by recruiting and training, as well as coaching, and counselling team members.
- Support team member training, reinforcing all corporate policies to maintain brand compliance, as well as legislative and legal business requirements in collaboration with the Store Manager.
- Support inventory control through merchandising, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, rotating stock, accepting product, balancing inventory, and participating in month end functions.
- As a member of management, models, enforces, and provides direction to team members on the customer experience map friendly and helpful customer service approaches and techniques.
- Utilizing the point-of-sale system for sales and reporting to make effective decisions and monitor store results.
- Serving Customers as an ambassador for their store by greeting customers, seeking their feedback, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within Company guidelines to create a positive experience.
- Store Opening/Closing procedures, including bank deposits.
- On-call backup for alarm calls or freezer emergencies.
- Assisting the Store Manager in the development of a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Performing all store management functions in the absence of the Store Manager.
***THE PERSON**
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to coach a team.
- Great time management skills and ability to execute multiple tasks and appropriately manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Is comfortable using MS Office software and a Point-of-Sale system, as well as reading/understanding reports, invoices, etc.
- Willingness to learn.
- Previous team lead, keyholder, or assistant manager experience an asset.
- Can meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting/carrying boxes weighing up to
- 40 lbs, standing for extended periods of time, and working within a freezer environment.
