**Well-being Navigator**

Lethbridge Family Services (LFS) is seeking a well-being navigator to join our Immigrant Services department In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized, client-centered support to eligible newcomers with complex or higher-than-average health and mental health needs. Well-being navigators work collaboratively with case managers and other service providers to ensure clients receive timely, appropriate support, helping to mitigate pressures faced by frontline staff in handling high-case needs.

**Well-being navigators**:

- establish direct linkages to health and mental health services, community support, and other specialized services,
- empower clients by sharing information about their rights, responsibilities, and available health services, enabling informed decision-making,
- develop and maintain a comprehensive directory of health and mental health services available to newcomers,
- collaborate with Local Immigration Partnerships (LIPs) to strengthen community-wide support for newcomer well-being,
- maintain accurate and confidential client records, including case notes, referrals, and follow-up actions, and
- stay up to date with policy changes in health and mental health services that may impact newcomer clients.

**Required skills and qualifications**:

- an undergraduate degree and/or diploma in human services, social work, psychology, sociology, anthropology, or education,
- a level 3 AAISA Certification,
- proven high levels of proficiency in computer skills, and
- extensive knowledge of Lethbridge community resource networks.

**All new employees must provide a police information check and vulnerable sector check dated not less than 90 days prior to the date of hire.**

Hours: Regular Full-Time, Monday - Friday 35 hours/ week
