**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are eagerly looking for a few talented individuals to join our team as **Field Service Leaders**. As a Field Service Leader, you will utilize your excellent leadership foundations, technical know how, and communication skills to supervise, develop, and lead a group of Technicians. You will rely on and promote Onyx-Fire’s Core Values and best practices in all day-to-day tasks. Your focus is to ensure your team of Technicians operates as efficiently and effectively as possible by coaching, supporting and motivating your team.

**_ Responsibilities and Objectives of Field Service Leaders:_**
- Lead maintenance inspections, repairs and service calls at peak efficiency on Fire and Life Safety Equipment.
- Provide coaching and support colleagues on services being conducted.
- Identify training opportunities and areas for continuing professional development for your direct team.
- Ensure all technicians within your team are following and meeting all process expectations (eg. reporting, timesheets, and time-off request, vehicle maintenance etc).
- Act as the primary point of contact for any escalated issues, scheduling conflicts, technical problems within your team.
- Handle conflict resolution and any minor disciplinary actions relating to your technicians. Escalate when necessary to the Operations Field Service Manager.
- Pick up and drop off job equipment/material at warehouses and suppliers.
- Daily use of the organization’s workflow management software and support team with any software issues and/or questions.
- Communicate any new or updated organizational policies, procedures, and goals with your team.
- Conduct Performance Assessments for your team in collaboration with the Operation Field Service Manager. Focusing on constructive feedback and elevating performance of peers.
- Provide support to internal staff for any inquiries (technical, customer, scheduling etc.).
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Adhere to and promote Onyx-Fire’s Core Values, standards, policies, procedures, and absolutes.
- Any additional duties as assigned.

- Must have valid BC Driver’s License.
- CFAA considered an asset.
- Journeymen Sprinkler Fitting Ticket considered an asset.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Existing knowledge or a desire to learn BC Fire Codes.
- Ability to lead & manage people in a positive and supportive team environment.
- Commitment to achieving and developing organizational goals and directives.
- Strong Conflict resolution skills.
- Organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.
- High-level customer service skills.
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to meet customer needs, at employer’s request.
