**Responsibilities**
- Develop your carpentry skills and knowledge through hands-on experience
- Gather materials, make accurate measurements and precision cuts
- Cut, rip, and plane lumber
- Build CV Cedar’s premium fence panels and gates
- Meet quality standards
- Keep the work area organized and clean
- Maintain positive relationships with staff and customers
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
- The role may include some lumber yard duties, such as receiving and racking lumber and other job materials, at times.
**Requirements**:
- Have enthusiasm for building/carpentry/construction and some experience
- Have knowledge of lumber (dimensions, measurements, etc.)
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Strength and stamina to lift panels, gates, and lumber
- Self-motivated and organized
- Confidence and quick learning skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Provide a minimum of 1 reference
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
