**Workplace**

**Our expectations**
Reporting to the Assistant-Manager, Credit - Ontario Western Provinces and Maritimes, the credit
agent is responsible for managing the risk of his assigned portfolio of charge accounts. More
precisely, he will be using tools that will allow him to prioritize the credit limit reviews according to his
level of authorization set in the Credit Policy of the Company. The incumbent will also arrange for the
collection of past due receivables of his assigned portfolio and will negotiate for a payment schedule
preferable to the retention of the account.

**Your role (include but not limited to)**:

- Ensure that the Company Credit Policy and Procedures are respected and followed
- Re-evaluate the accounts credit limit as needed
- Put on credit hold any delinquent accounts when necessary
- Perform collection of past due receivables for assigned accounts
- Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up with customer
- Work with Sales representatives and Store Managers when collection assistance is required

- Work as part of a team with other Credit Administrators and participate in various related projects
- Participates in any other related tasks

**The qualifications we are looking for**
- College diploma in administration or in a related field
- A minimum 2-4 years’ experience in Credit and Collection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid judgement and strong analytical skills to make sound decisions
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision and is team oriented
- Excellent skills with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Proven organizational and prioritization skills are required for this dynamic work environment
- Familiar with the construction industry will be considered as an asset
