Working as the storekeeper, you will be responsible for general and department-specific, routine, daily store activities, including processing postings, supplies receipt and distribution, carry out inventories and inventory control activities, and may manage purchase and change orders.

tore keepers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

- Coordinating with shipping companies to arrange pickup of goods, and with insurance companies to file claims for damaged or lost merchandise
- Ensuring that all goods are properly priced and labeled according to company standards.
- Managing inventory levels by ordering new merchandise as needed to replenish existing stock.
- Processing sales transactions using computerized cash register systems or manual methods such as a cash register or adding machine.
- Performing physical inventory counts to ensure that all goods are accounted for at the end of each accounting period.

To be successful as a store keeper you must be able to multitask and perform under pressure while remaining professional with customers. A good store keeper is able to manage stock by keeping a record of sales and ordering the required replacement items, occasionally making new product purchases that consumers may enjoy.

**Salary**: $28.25-$34.19 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
