Before School Age Educator

Days & Hours: Tuesday - Friday 6:45 AM - 9:00 AM

This is a year-round renewable contract.

Additional Days: 7 hours per day on School Pro D days, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer Break

**Wind & Tide **seeks to hire individuals who have a genuine warmth and love for children, a passion for teaching, and who are committed to teamwork. This role involves working with students aged 5 -11 years old.

**Qualifications**:

- Educational Assistant Certificate or Responsible Adult Certificate
- Completion of Grade 12
- BC Ministry Criminal Record Check clearance
- First Aid training
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Previous experience working in a School Age Program is an asset
- COVID-19 vaccination is required

**Placement Details**:

- Rate of pay based on education and experience with school-age children in a group setting
- Provincial Wage Enhancement for teachers with their full ECE Certificate
- Staff Gifts and Professional Development days included in the school year

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 9 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
