**Job Duties**:

- Plans and executes developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for children using modeling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing techniques.
- Develops daily program schedules that include indoor/outdoor, active/quiet, and individual/group activities that meet our core programming standards.
- Communicates with families about children’s growth and development. Requests inputs and participation of parents in the development of programs. Confers with parents about usual or problematic issues.
- Identifies the abilities, interests, and needs of children and develops individualized and group curriculum based on these. Recommends referrals or additional services or work in consultation with various professionals such as behavioural therapists, occupational therapists and speech & language pathologists.

**Job Requirements**:

- Early Childhood Education Infant Toddler certification (approved through the Early Childhood Registry of B.C.).
- Previous work experience in a similar environment is preferred
- Experience in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programs, and activities
- Must be currently residing in Canada and entitled to work in Canada

Hourly Rate: $25.40 per hour (Inc ECE-WE)
Location: Ladysmith, B.C.
