Aluminum Packer

Can Art is a commercial leader in the Aluminum Extrusion field, with 3 plants in Ontario, come and join a true industry leader in this exciting manufacturing field.

We need General Laborers to start immediately at our Brampton Plant, near Steeles and Finch across the road from Wet N Wild Toronto.
- **Must be able to work 12 hours continental shifts, shift rotating every two weeks, days to nights.**_

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervise and coordinate with Packing aluminum extrusion products into appropriate packaging
- Keep working area clear of debris and garbage
- Ensure all actions are done with safety first approach
- Ensure all aluminum scrap bins at saw locations and presses are emptied half hour before end of each shift.
- Stack material without causing damage to the load below it.
- Ensure all paper work is complete and follows the material to the next stage.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Must be able to read and write English and be familiar with weights and measurements. Basic Aptitude test will be conducted during interview.

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Able to work rotating continental shift
- Personable with clear communication skills
- Able to work well with others in a team environment
- Good attitude required
- Must have completed High School
- Good knowledge and record of safety, quality and productivity around the aluminum extrusion press

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
