**The is a temporary position that will be effective September 2, 2025 to June 30, 2026.**

**Scope of Position**:

- Conduct psycho-educational assessments for students from K-12
- Provide consultation service to teachers and parents regarding students with a wide variety of issues including learning disabilities, behavioural challenges and cognitive impairments
- Provide assistance in the 1701 process of identification of students in special education categories
- Provide guidance to resource teachers regarding the use of Level B assessment tools
- Conducting assessment for the purpose of adjudication for Provincial examinations
- Other duties as assigned

**R**equired Qualifications**:

- Minimum of Masters’ Degree in School Psychology or equivalent
- Eligible for membership in the Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch
- Eligible for membership in BC Association of School Psychologists
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete psycho-educational assessments
- Excellent knowledge of assessment methods for formally evaluating cognitive, academic, behavioral and emotional functioning for elementary, middle and secondary students
- Ability to collaborate with district and school staff to plan intervention programs for students with a variety of learning needs
- Knowledge of audit compliance criteria for special education categories
- Excellent communication skills

**Compensation**:

- Salary as per Teachers' Collective Agreement. Current salary range is $59,724.00 to $110,831.00 annually plus comprehensive benefits package.
