We are seeking a talented Pipeline TD to join our team who will serve a key role in developing a cutting-edge, innovative cloud-based platform that provides tools and services for managing a production pipeline for animation, games or VFX projects. Our studio is located in the trendy Mount Pleasant area just a short walk away from the Main Street-Science World Skytrain Station. However, this position is fully remote **_#WorkFromHome_**

Job Title**:Pipeline TD** (Remote)

What You'll Do:

- Take part in the design and development of a deployed pipeline product
- Design and develop production tools and artist workflows
- Understand, troubleshoot, and propose improvements to the current needs of the pipeline
- Participate in code reviews and deploy version controlled code updates
- Write and update technical documentation
- Communicate in both a technical and artistic manner across multiple departments
- Adhere to the company's coding standards
- Learn from experienced industry professionals
- Work collaboratively and creatively with the pipeline team & mentor junior staff

What You Need:

- 2+ years production experience
- Experience with Python object oriented programming
- Experience creating UIs using PyQt/PySide
- Strong understanding of 3D pipelines and artist workflows
- Experience reviewing code and using code versioning tools such as GIT
- Ability to take direction and provide a consistent quality of work
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Strong documentation & communication skills both written and verbal

Nice To Have:

- Experience with Maya or other industry-standard DCCs
- General understanding of USD
- Experience with Rez Python package configuration
- Experience in UXUI design and development
- Unity & Unreal Engine experience
- Experience with Shotgrid API or equivalent
- SQL database knowledge
- C++, C#
