Do you want to be a part of something special? Celebrations Dinner Theatre has an immediate need to hire an Adcast Server (AKA Character Server) to join their team. Working under the Floor Manager, this position is unique in that it requires a balance between providing high quality service and quality food to our guests, while creating an entertaining and fun environment as part of the live performance. - Deliver exceptional full table service
- Greet customers, make them feel welcome and important
- Take food and beverage orders, while answering questions about the menu and explaining daily features
- Place orders with the kitchen by inputting items into the Point of Sale
- Accept guest payments, process credit card charges and provide change (when required)
- Manage a daily float and balance cash, debit and credit receipts at the end of the shift
- Conduct food and beverage quality checks
- Communicate effectively with other Front and Back of House team members
- Handle guest concerns with the support of the management team
- Assist other Front of House staff to set up the restaurant, clean and bus tables and run food, when needed
- Serving experience in a full-service bar/restaurant setting
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed customer expectations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Smart Choices Certification
