The work of Good Shepherd is based on a fundamental belief in providing hope and restoring dignity to the most vulnerable members of our community. Our services include emergency food transitional housing and education for homeless and street-involved youth; hospice palliative care; community mental health programs; and supportive housing programs. **How You Will Make an Impact**

The HOMES program provides supportive housing to persons who have been homeless and are living with a mental illness. Team members support tenants to reach personal goals and to have a satisfying and meaningful life in the community.

In this role, you will work to make a difference in the lives of tenants. Services to tenants include assessment, planning, crisis prevention and intervention, and supportive counseling.
- Provide tenants with primary case management and community resources
- Services to tenants include assessment & planning
- Provide crisis prevention and intervention and supportive counseling
- Demonstrate commitment to the Good Shepherd mission values of Hospitality, Responsibility, Availability, Adaptability, Quality and Dignity

**What You'll Bring to Our Team**
- A post-secondary education in social or health services
- A minimum of three years' experience in mental health, and concurrent disorders is required
- 'Recovery orientation' and 'consumer driven' style of practice is essential
- Possess the ability to work independently and think creatively
- Ability to speak French and/or other languages considered an asset
- CPR certification or willingness to be certified is required
- Adhere to working and operating within an anti-racism and anti-oppression framework
- Must have a valid drivers license
