**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings according to specifications.
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets using hand tools and power tools.
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams to create a smooth surface ready for painting or other finishes.
- Perform repairs on existing drywall installations as needed.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Read blueprints and project plans to determine necessary materials and tasks.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing is required.
- Skills in construction painting, caulking, and general maintenance person tasks are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with carpentry techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints effectively is essential for this role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship is necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB (T5J): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Drywall: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-06-10
