Cashier/sales

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our business, responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently handling transactions. You will play a key role in promoting our products and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- resolve customer complaints/issues creatively

- Process inventory and order product
- Maintain a clean and organized store/checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during peak hours while maintaining quality interactions with customers.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Construction knowledge or background preferred but not mandatory
- Strong technical sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for efficient transaction handling.
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong cash handling abilities to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to foster positive customer relationships.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

Work days:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
