Sweet Impressions Bakery is searching for a creative, hard-working, and passionate individual to join our team within the role of Baker

**About the Role**

We’re searching for one Part-Time Baker to join our amazing team in our production kitchen This role will include everything from prepping our cake fillings and buttercreams to decorating our daily cupcake orders along with rolling and baking sugar cookies. This position requires a weekend availability with two additional week days (can be flexible) This position will be working from our Production Facility which is separate from our Storefront.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Adhere to our Allergy Awareness Policy to ensure a 100% peanut and tree nut free environment and take all necessary precautions to prevent cross-contamination with allergens present in the bakery
- Prepare, produce, and bake daily menu items for our retail store front and orders
- Prep batters/doughs, fillings, and buttercreams
- Produce and prepare all sweets from cakes and cupcakes to cookies and brownies
- Maintain a high standard of kitchen and equipment cleanliness and safety
- Clear communication with bakers to develop efficient teamwork and time management

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year baking experience (required)
- Post-Secondary education (degree or certificate) in Baking or Patisserie (asset)
- Very detail oriented - we pride ourselves on our confidence in 100% nut free baking and 100% egg and dairy free baking within our vegan line
- Ability to follow tasks and work independently
- An early riser Someone who is ready to work as early as 6am
- Someone fun, positive, and friendly
