**You will be responsible for the following**:
- Lead/initiate huddles with each workstation
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows as needed.
- Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot issues.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to the team.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency.
- Report on shift activities and performance metrics.
**You will possess the following**:
- Proven experience as a shift leader or similar role in a foundry or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of foundry operations and metalworking processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong sense of teamwork within groups and across the organization
- Must be flexible with working overtime
- Previous exposure to a foundry environment is an asset
