**Position Overview**

Are you a medical student aiming for a career in our region?

We need you this summer for a 14-week full-time period (dates to be determined between May and August).

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Here is an overview of the tasks you will be called to perform:

- Completing various audits, schedule making for the hospitalist and emergency departments and emergency replacements
- Completing various reports
- Development of a medical affairs huddle board
- Coordinating the updating policies and medical directives
- Further work on our uOttawa affiliation procuring academic appointments for physicians
- Clerical filing/invoice payment
- Administrative support for the CPSO QI initiative
- Updating demographic records, etc.

**Criminal Check**

As a pre-condition of employment:

- All new HGH employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Police Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.
- As of now, HGH will require all employees, physicians, learners, contractors and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

**What we are looking for**
- Medical student or student in another healthcare related field
- You must be bilingual (English and French)
