The Parts Consultant is responsible for developing ongoing and long-term relationships with clients. As a team player, the Parts Consultant strives to develop collaborative relationships throughout the dealership.

**Responsibilities**
- Efficiently help customers select parts and provide internal and external customers (retail and shop) with high-quality service
- Answer telephone calls, provide price quotes with any other information needed
- Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
- Receive payments from retail customers
- Handle customer concerns immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines.
- Stock items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves; adjusting the inventory system and assuring all safety risks
- Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager

**Qualifications**
- At least 1 year of Automotive Parts experience
- Experience using a DMS - CDK in particulsar is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude
- Strong verbal communication and writing skills
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow set and standard procedures
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Flexible and open to change; take on special tasks as needed
- Ability to work independently and take self-initiative
- Basic computer skills and a comfort with learning new software and systems
- Must have a full drivers licence and clean drivers abstract
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and technical/mechanical repairs
