Buyer / Materials Planner - Maternity Leave Contract (6 months)
**Position Overview**:
**Main Responsibilities**:
Procurement of goods required to support ongoing production and or new product development
Managing Inventory Levels and supporting Inventory Objectives; all warehouse locations
Managing and Developing Supplier Relationships
Mitigate Expedited Freight Costs
Managing / Coordinating Logistics from Offshore partnerships
Other duties as assigned

**Education / Experience**:

Bilingual Spanish and/or Mandarin considered an asset
Advanced Excel Skills considered an asset
Familiarity with Fasteners considered a benefit
Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, CPG considered an asset
Familiarity with both a Production and Distribution environment considered an asset
