**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the meal preparation process, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards while adhering to food safety regulations. **Responsibilities**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and cooking techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations at all times.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements.
- Support the head chef or kitchen manager in daily operations as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling best practices.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 - 40 per week
