**CLS Landscape Supply is one of Calgary's largest landscape supply centers, and we are looking to hire a Branch Manager for the 2025 season at our Cochrane Retail location.**

**Position**:Full-time, permanent.
**Duties**:
- Become familiar with all products that CLS carries, how these products relate to each other, and how they are incorporated into a landscape project
- Create a rapport with customers and provide a welcoming and helpful experience to all
- Educate customers and team members on the products and services CLS Landscape Supply offers
- Arrange and publish schedules for all retail team members two weeks in advance
- Assist your team in hitting sales targets for the 2023 year
- Train new staff members on the usage of internal programs
- Provide assistance and feedback to team members
- Ensure CLS has a clean and organized office to facilitate the movement of landscape supplies
- Ensure that safe work practices are applied to all aspects of your job
- Aid in quote generation and customer follow up
- Receive inventory and coordinate product delivery/pickup with customers
- Customer service skills - 3 year preferred
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or gardening is beneficial though not required
- Must have reliable transportation as we are not located on transit lines
- Must be proficient in both written and verbal communication in English
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently towards goals
- Money handling and counting skills
- Math skills are beneficial, though resources exist to aid in calculations. Math is an integral part of every transaction we complete, so attention to detail is very important
- Must be able to work up to A10-hour shifts in a construction-like environment (hazards present include insects, dust, debris, loud noises, heavy equipment operation, and exposure to the elements when working outside)
- Able to lift and carry weight up to 50 lbs, we work with heavy landscaping materials daily
**Accountability & Role**
The Manager is a key part of the fulfilment of the promises we make to our customers, which sets the standard for what they will expect moving forward. The Manager is responsible for maximizing client relations and maintaining high ethical standards in all aspects of communication and behaviour throughout the sales generation process. The company’s brand and reputation rely on the proper execution of the responsibilities of this role. The areas of accountability are as follows:

- Deliverable 1 - Customer Experience and Communication_
- Deliverable 2 - Revenue targets (Basket Size, Transactions and Sales Dollars)_
- Deliverable 3 - Scheduling of staff (CSRs and loader operators) within staffing budget_
- Deliverable 4 - Overseeing the performance of the CSR staff_
- Deliverable 5 - Keeping a clean retail space_
