**THE ROLE AT A GLANCE**

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a background in electrical and mechanical systems. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient plant operations. Key tasks include diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting equipment repairs. Basic knowledge of PLC systems is a plus but not the main focus.

This position will be based in Woodstock, ON.

**THE DAY TO DAY**
- Perform all duties in a safe manner.
- Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on bagging machines and other production equipment.
- Ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely to meet production targets.
- Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues, including motors, sensors, and control panels.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Handle basic electrical wiring, motor replacements, and mechanical repairs.
- Perform maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct minor adjustments to PLC-controlled equipment (if applicable).
- Assist contractors with more complex PLC programming and system upgrades.
- Follow a maintenance schedule for all plant equipment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts replaced.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and monitoring of all equipment.
- Performing and recording work orders.

- Practical working experiences are an asset, and
- Strong work ethic and highly motivated.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Reliable transportation
- Detailed record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Provide your own standard tools.
- Demonstrated mechanical/electrical abilities.
