**Requirements & Qualifications**
- Worked as a Caretaker, Building Manager, Facility Manager or Head Concierge (1 year experience preferred)
- Worked with a Strata Corporation and relevant stakeholders - Council, Property Manager, Developer, Owners, Renters, Trades. (preferred)
- Customer-centric, friendly, positive, has a “can-do” attitude
- Ability to prioritize and attention to detail
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
- Grade 12 - post-secondary education an asset
- Strong computer skills MS-Office

**Job Duties**:

- Provide general oversight of building maintenance providers: garbage, recycling, laundry, and landscaping services ensuring that all contractors/service providers complete their work properly and in a timely manner
- Identify maintenance issues as they arise, in both mechanical rooms and residential areas.
- Experience and ability to deal with building maintenance related matters such as patching and painting a wall, basic lock installation, power washing, pulling out garbage bins and cleaning the garbage room, changing lights, attending janitorial duties as necessary

Oversee interior building maintenance and perform minor repairs as required.
- Oversee the cleaners, monitor contractor’s performance
- Respond to owners and tenant’s requests respectfully and calmly
- Manage the building’s security (fob access) and fire systems

Respond to emergency calls after hours.
- Perform maintenance duties as needed. [i.e., change burnt out lights, pressure wash exterior common areas, snow removal, etc.]
- Help with emergency response and preparedness
- Provide a log of work performed daily and prepare a weekly overview for the Operations Manager and Strata Manager

**Experience**:

- Caretaker, Building Manager, Facility Manager or Head Concierge, or other equivalent experience of 1 year (preferred)
- Strata Corporation and relevant stakeholders experience - Council, Property Manager, Developer, Owners, Renters, Trades. (preferred)
- General working experience of the main building operation elements such as fire safety, emergency generator, security, and access systems

**Physical Requirements / Working Environment**
- Constant walking and monitoring of building equipment and physical structure
- Lifting, pulling, and managing equipment and tools
- Working in all weather and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold.
- Ensure that all activities are completed safely and efficiently
