Job Activities

Financial Duties
- Conducting full cycle accounting tasks including entering expenses
- Processing payroll
- Managing A/R and A/P
- Filing monthly and quarterly government remittances
- Tracking and monitoring expenses related to research and development
- Ensuring that the companies KPI metric tracking documents are kept up to date
- Developing financial reports including budgets, cash flow projections and income statements
- Working with vendors to setup accounts and manage purchasing relationships
- Manage overseas vendor relationships and coordinate purchasing of raw materials

Human Resources Duties
- Keeping track of key employment milestones related to each employee’s employment contract
- Managing and keeping track of employee records
- Developing and implementing office policies and procedures
- Working with Manitoba Employment Standards and Workplace Health and Safety to ensure company compliance
- Maintaining employee benefits program

**Requirements**:

- Post secondary accounting training degree or diploma
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Exceptional data entry/keying skills
- Excellent working knowledge of QuickBooks online
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
