We are growing and we are looking to add to our team a pharmacy assistant. The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for providing superior customer service in a friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner to pharmacy patients / customers. Ability to be self-directed and able to work independently to meet strict deadlines will be the key to success in this role. Actively contributes to a positive and productive working environment
- Evaluate legality, interpret and confirm the accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling, input;
- Data entry of patient information in Kroll and third-party adjudication.
- Assisting the pharmacy team with the preparation, packaging, and accurate dispensing of patient prescriptions.
- Performs administrative duties, including receiving rx orders, filling supplies, cleaning
- Perform maintenance / cleaning duties on our automated Robot Parata Mini Respond to customers, client, and healthcare related calls
- Product ordering / receiving inventory
- Handling customer prescription pick up,
- Other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy owner or the Pharmacist on-duty

**Required Skills / Knowledge / Experience**:

- Kroll/ Telus Pharmacy Software experience (preferred)
- 2+ years community pharmacy experience (preferred)
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well in a team setting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to assess customer needs, problem solve, and use critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to Multi-Task
- Fluent in English (French is an asset)
