**Position**:Fork Truck Operator

**Department**:Shipping (Warehouse) & MPS

**Reports to**: Shipping Supervisor

**Hours of Work**: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

**_Education: _**
- Minimum Grade 12
- Forklift Certification
- WHMIS Trained, ISO Trained
- First Aid and CPR Certification

**_Experience:_**
- Minimum 3 years Forklift Operator Experience
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Experience working with Flute an Asset

- Demonstrate professionalism and maintain composure under pressure in a constantly changing environment especially when dealing with customers

**General/Daily Duties**
- Check E-mails and Whiteboard for releases and print off JITs.
- Communicate with customer service regarding shortages; damages; release dates etc.
- Check receiving inbox for new slips and ensure all items are properly received in Flute and inspected.
- Accurately complete relevant paperwork and forward to appropriate departments in timely manner.
- Load and unload trucks in an effective, efficient manner while checking incoming quality.
- Move received material to proper department and location, always ensuring to rotate stock.
- Pick orders, stage, and tag, verify and sign orders picked.
- Cut custom orders when required and record operations on daily production report.
- Keep warehouse and workspace neat and organized.
- Complete inventory on a weekly cycle count basis.
- Perform all quality checks as per ISO procedures or as required.
- Other duties as required.
