**Duties**:
Provide general maintenance, repair and labour services to support special event set up, event and take down, grounds, roads and facilities maintenance; construction and installations; and other general maintenance and repair requirements for the Parks Canada Agency.

**Work environment**:
Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site is a level 1 archaeological site, with hectares of cultural landscapes to be maintained. Spend the day working as a part of a team environment. Enjoy working with a bison herd, alongside the wildlife and water ways on site, and making sure the site provides a quality visitor experience.

- Willing and able to work shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime
- Willing and able to travel and work in a variety of locations in the Banff Field Unit
- Willing and able to work outdoors and be exposed to various weather conditions
- Willing and able to perform strenuous physical activity effectively and safely
- Willing and able to clean washrooms, mop, clean kitchen areas and the visitor centre facility
- Willing and able to perform pest control, monitor water quality and safety systems (example: fire alarms and video surveillance)

**Conditions of employment**:
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

- Security Screening: obtain and maintain a Reliability status (must be attained prior to appointment)
- Willing and able to wear identifier clothing and personal safety equipment
- Possession and maintenance of a valid Alberta class 5 driver’s license or equivalent
