The position is preformed in our Mechanic Shop in our Queensville Yard, as well as out in the field, so a valid drivers license is required.

We are looking for an experienced Truck and Coach Technician with a 310T License to join our team. In this role you will be perform preventative maintenance and repairs on transport/dump trucks, trailers, and other various vehicles. Other key responsibilities include:

- Completing safety inspections on trucks and trailers, including all legislative paperwork
- Completing running repairs preformed on trucks and trailers according to pre/post inspections
- Independently diagnosing issues with diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Maintaining records of all service and repair work
- Effectively communicating with co-workers, suppliers and shop managers
- Various fabrication tasks such as stick and mig welding
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the shop
- Repairing trucks and trailers on site in various weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned by Shop Manager

**Skills Required**:

- We require a good safety record and the highest degree of dependability.
- Ability to work long days, flexible work hours & occasional weekends.
- 3+ years of experience as a Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic (310T).
- 3+ years of experience with repairing and maintaining Truck and Coach Equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract.
- Air Brake Endorsement required.
- Must have own tools applicable to the 310T position.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the role (heavy lifting, bending, climbing, working at heights).
- Background in mechanical knowledge, particularly with various heavy duty engines and related equipment.
- Experience with hydraulic and/or electrical work.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- A team player with a great attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work safely and independently in a fast pace environment.
- Demonstrates superior time management skills.
- Must speak fluent English.
